Tuesday’s episode saw Jay left stunned after the blonde escort returned to Walford and dropped the bombshell that she is pregnant with his baby.

Last year, Jay turned to drugs to cope with his grief over the death of wife Lola Pearce.

He also sought comfort from Nadine, who reminded him of Lola, and ended up sleeping with her.

In upcoming EastEnders scenes, it’s the day of the London Marathon and the Square is abuzz with excitement.

Jay insists he isn’t going to run following Nadine’s revelation, but Honey persuades him otherwise.

Later, Jay is given food for thought over the situation and invites Nadine to No.29B, but it’s not long before the pair start arguing when Jay questions the baby’s paternity.

Nadine insists the baby is his, and after she reveals they are expecting a girl, Jay promises to be there for her and the baby and gives her money.

But is he right to be suspicious?

In the episode that aired earlier this week, Jay chose to confide in Gina as he revealed that Nadine has asked to see him.

After some encouragement, Jay headed off to Nadine who told him that she is pregnant and expecting his child.

Jay stormed away from Nadine overwhelmed at the fact he is set to become a father with the sex worker.

As he struggled to process the news, Nadine became angry with her baby daddy as she berated him for sticking his head in the sand about the pregnancy.

Realising that he needed to make things real, Jay gathered his family around to deliver the shock news, but as usual in soapland, things didn’t go to plan.
