In a recent interview the Morning Live star who shares three kids; sons Ernie, eight, and Louis, six, and two-year-old daughter Elsie, with her ex-husband, has revealed the crucial advice she would give herself and others.
Helen said: “I’d encourage myself to enjoy things as nothing stays the same.
“Everything changes, so just embrace whatever stage you’re in. Whatever will happen, will happen.”
When asked by OK! magazine if she ever got ‘mum guilt’ the 40-year-old expressed: “I think that’s a term we should just never say out loud again.
“You could use that term about everything in your life.
“Are we not doing enough exercise – do we feel guilty? Are we not eating enough vegetables – do we feel guilty? It’s a phrase that should be parked.
“You’ve got to really invest in the right energy and guilt is just a waste.”
Helen – who credits Strictly Come Dancing for restoring her broken heart – also gave an update on how she and the kids are doing since Richie stepped out of their lives in April 2022.
The tragic break-up happened just four months after the birth of her youngest child Elsie while they were renovating their home.
Speaking on how things are now the Countryfile host said her brood are “doing great” and “there’s plenty to be positive about”.

Since the split, the proud mum of three has continued to co-parent with the 33 year old.
Shortly after the breakup, Richie revealed he was dating Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of millionaire Leeds Rhino president Andrew Thirkill, the club Richie played for, shortly after leaving Helen.
The couple are still together and welcomed a daughter in April last year, with many believing that Stephanie is currently pregnant again.
However, for former Blue Peter presenter Helen, it seems as if she has taken her own advice and is enjoying life to the fullest!
Shortly after her marriage split, Helen was runner-up on Strictly with partner Gorka Marquez.
She later filed for divorce, which was finalised in December 2023, and has also bought a new house.
The TV personality has also made it clear that her past grievances will not keep her down.
According to OK! Magazine, the Channel 5 host is “reluctantly dipping her toe back into the dating pool” in the hope of finding “new adventures” rather than committing to marriage.
The source reports: “After her trust was broken, she’s nowhere near ready for an all-in long-term romance.
“But she’s not closing herself off to anything anymore. She’s open to new adventures in all respects and is making it her aim to say ‘yes’ to more things that excite her.”
Currently, Helen and her three kids seem to be living their best lives.
The star regularly keeps her 500k Instagram followers updated on her what is happening in her life while also keeping very busy in the TV industry.
Helen – who is still good mates with many big TV stars – is now the presenter of a new travel show on Channel 5 with Dan Walker.
The BBC host and Dan were recently seen with Sally Nugent at a glitzy party for the Burrow Strictly Come Dancing ball.
