Devon lass Faye was make-up free after hopping out of the shower, with her wet hair over her shoulders.

The ITV2 matchmaking show alumni opened upon her skin resurfacing procedure – which has left her holed up at home.

She said: “So my cabin fever is being released today.

“For over a week I’ve done nothing but walk my dogs and not wear make up and not leave my house because I had AgeJET (plasma skin therapy treatment) done for my hyperpigmentation from sun damage on my forehead.

“As you guys know I’ve been suffering for years.

“It’s taken longer than i thought to recover but I can’t believe I’m on here without a filter and without make-up talking to you guys.

Pointing to a spot on the right side of her forehead she admitted: “There is still a bit here, which I am probably going to have to get done again.

“Why am I a bit emotional about it?”

She then added: “It wasn’t an easy journey but … wear sunscreen kids.”

The procedure treats everything from fine lines and stretch marks to skin pigmentation.

Remimedispa.co.uk states: “Age Jet is a type of plasma skin regeneration in which nitrogen gas creates a thermal injury deep in the skin.

“This means that the plasma preserves the outer layer of the skin until your new skin forms over the course of 10 days.”

It warns of “dryness” and “shredding” of the skin as an after-effect while eventual results include healthier, firmer and younger-looking skin.

Real skin

Last year, Faye candidly took to social media to reveal her “real skin.”

It came after severe sun damage to her forehead during a trip to the Maldives.

On a trip to Ibiza, she then showcased the uneven skin tone.

What is skin hyperpigmentation and Faye's treatment?

HERE we take a look:

SUN damage is the main cause of skin hyperpigmentation.

This is because sunlight triggers the production of melanin.

She is undergoing the AgeJET procedure which treats everything from fine lines and stretch marks to skin pigmentation.

Talking of the procedure Remimedispa.co.uk states: “Age Jet is a type of plasma skin regeneration in which nitrogen gas creates a thermal injury deep in the skin.

“This means that the plasma preserves the outer layer of the skin until your new skin forms over the course of 10 days.”

Fay has long been a campaigner for health and last year revealed she had found a lump on her breast.

She has also told how she refuses to age gracefully – yet isn’t shy in admitting her filler mistakes.

Faye – who was paired with Teddy Soares on Love Island but later sadly split – exclusively told us: “My [lip] fillers were massive.

“Everyone saw my lips on the show, everyone knows what they look like.

“And now I’m like, actually, yeah, it’s embarrassing to look back and see what I’ve done.

“When I saw myself on TV, that was a massive wake up call.”
