LOVE Island fans are convinced they know why Uma Jammeh has pulled a sudden U-turn on Ayo Odukoya.
Model Uma, 23, has told 25-year-old Ayo that she is “removing” herself from the love triangle with him and Mimii Ngulube.
The bombshell’s decision to cut dead any advances towards him came just hours before the latest recoupling, which saw the girls calling the shots.
Uma had her chance to snare semi-pro footballer Ayo, as she was given the chance to pick before Mimii, but she chose to couple up with fellow bombshell Omar.
Sharing their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer thinks Uma has blown cold in a case of “reverse psychology”.
“Uma backing away from the triangle with Ayo & Mimii was reverse psychology that may actually work… Ayo likes the drama and will probably see Uma as more of a challenge,” the fan said.
Another added: “Uma is a smart girl, never let yourself be the groupie in a triangle, he will always wonder what if and never enjoy his stay in that villa and I pray she never gives him another chance.”
And a third said: “Uma did the right thing today, now she will know if Ayo truly likes her or just likes the attention.”
Someone else, however, suggested a different reason.
“The real truth about Uma’s decision was seeing that the public loves Ayo and Mimii. She isn’t too dumb; she thought about it and decided to let go,” they said.
Meanwhile, the Love Island villa is set to erupt into chaos tonight (Friday) with the arrival of three new bombshells– including Joey Essex‘s ex.
Grace Jackson, who split with Joey earlier this year, will be seen making her arrival alongside hunky Wil Anderson – the brother of Newcastle United midfielder Elliot Anderson – and stunning Tiffany Leighton.
According to MailOnline, Joey dated Grace for six weeks before their romance ended abruptly and badly.
Grace is said to be entering the villa in a bid to get answers from Joey about why their relationship hit the skids.
A source told the website: “Grace was less than impressed by the way their relationship ended.
“There’s definitely some unfinished business between them and she isn’t going to hold back in expressing how she feels in the villa.

“My lifestyle can put guys off a little bit, I like to go out and go abroad a lot.
“They can’t keep up with my lifestyle. It’s the life that I want, and it helps with my business.”
The 25-year-old model’s arrival will also rock Joey’s blossoming romance with fellow islander Samantha Kenny.
However, fans have grown suspicious of Samantha’s intentions towards Joey after she admitted to being a ‘Towie super-fan’.
