THIS year’s Love Island winners have been ‘revealed’ after just one day and two Islanders have been revealed as the favourites.
Last night saw a brand new line-up enter the villa and the contestants have already been ranked.
It has come to light that Joey Essex is a fan favourite and has a strong chance of taking home the cash prize this year.
And the female contestant with the highest chance of winning is Mimii Ngulube.
Joey Essex has been ranked is 3-1 to be in the winning Love Island couple this year, according to top bookmaker Coral.
Following Joey, the rankings have placed Ayo Odukoya at 7-2, Sean Stone at 4-1, Ciaran Davis, Ronnie Vint and Sam Taylor at 6-1, whilst Munveer Jabbal ranked 8-1.
Mimii Ngulube is the 7-2 favourite to be the top female contestant.
Following Mimi, the rankings show Harriett Blackmore at 4-1 , Nicole Samuel 4-1 , Patsy Field 5-1, Samantha Kenny at 5-1 and finally Jessica White at 11-2.
Last night, Joey became Love Island’s first celebrity bombshell.
Fans were left in shock as Love Island kept Joey’s entry under wraps.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun before landing in Majorca, Joey, 33, said: “I feel like Joey Bond, the name’s Essex, Joey Essex. It felt like a military operation, not even the journey itself but the process of even getting through the application and to this point.
“I got on the plane to Ibiza. I made sure I wore my mask when I went out for dinner and then we got the boat over to Majorca to a villa hidden in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.
“I’m extremely single right now, so I’m praying that I’m going to walk out of the villa hand in hand with the love of my life. That’s my main aim and all I care about.
“It’s difficult for me to meet girls as they judge me based on a persona so I think this experience will allow people to see the real me.”
Following fans’ overwhelming support for the star on X, formerly known as Twitter, Mimi has proven to be a popular choice among the general public.
One user penned: “We already know who the winner of the season is going to be. Give that 50,000 pounds to Mimi now.”
Another added: “If no one likes mimi I’m calling ofcom.”
Mimi is currently coupled up with Munveer Jabbal but she’s been getting know Ayo Odukoya.
