AN EASTENDERS icon makes a shock return in upcoming scenes – and lands a job in Albert Square.

Fans were delighted earlier this year when Bianca Jackson returned to the show – albeit in Milton Keynes, not Walford.

However, new spoilers have revealed Sonia will get a shock to be greeted by a familiar face in the Square – Bianca’s back.

The surprises continue when Bianca meets Reiss, but she is soon distracted to learn that Zack has been AWOL and she heads to Whitney’s demanding answers.

Zack arrives home and tries to evade Bianca’s questioning, but it soon gets too much for him and he leaves.

Zack heads to The Vic and to see Whitney but the pair are interrupted by Wahida, a mum who is meeting Whitney to share her son’s experience of Usher Syndrome.

After a candid conversation with Linda, Bianca speaks with Zack.

Meanwhile, Denise and Linda are wracked with guilt as Vinny displays café reopening flyers whilst Bernie tearfully watches, still haunted by the memory of finding her brother Keanu’s body under the flooring a few weeks ago.

Vinny invites Bernie inside, but she refuses and Bianca seizes the opportunity to help Bernie and bag herself a job at the café.

Later, Bianca has a heart-to-heart with Bernie and encourages her to return to work. 

Will she be able to get through to her?

It was confirmed back in January that Patsy Palmer would be reprising her iconic role for a brief stint.

Patsy has played the fiery character on and off since 1993 and she previously said of her latest stint: “I’m so excited to be reprising the role of Bianca.

“EastEnders holds such a special place in my heart so it’s always a pleasure to be back.”

While executive producer Chris Clenshaw added: “I’m thrilled to welcome the fabulous Patsy back to the iconic role of Bianca Jackson.

“Although the character was last seen on-screen in 2019, Bianca still remains a fan favourite.

“We know our audiences will be thrilled at her return as she is thrust into the heart of the drama alongside step-daughter Whitney.”
