Who is Ravi from Britain’s Got Talent 2024?

Ravi showcased his incredible singing abilities on Britain’s Got Talent.

He was approached by show bosses who had seen his efforts to raise funds for Brains Trust and The Brain Tumour Charity.

The young boy was diagnosed with a brain tumour two years prior to his appearance on BGT but did not want his diagnosis to get in the way of his dreams.

How old is Ravi from Britain’s Got Talent 2024?

Ravi is just eight years old.

Ravi has shared with the press what he hopes to do with the money if his group wins the show.

He told The Sun: “If we won it would help us reach our fundraising goal, but also winning would just bring so much more awareness of brain tumours.”

He also explained how he has big plans to meet his hero, ex-England striker and Match Of The Day pundit Alan Shearer.

Mum Bethan, 42, from Brighton, said: “Ravi has always loved music but can’t use half his face, which affects his singing, plus he can’t hear out his left side.

When did Ravi perform on Britain’s Got Talent?

Ravi performed on the talent show on the episode that aired on April 21, 2024.

He appeared on the ITV stage backed by a choir called Ravi’s Dream Team, made up of people ranging from five to 78.

His parents and little sister were also a part of the group.

Taking to the stage, Ravi explained his reasoning for being on the show.

Ravi and the choir performed A Million Dreams from the movie musical The Greatest Showman.

Judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were left emotional after the performance, with the former pressing her Golden Buzzer.

Explaining why she pressed the coveted buzzer, Alesha said: “The Golden Buzzer is such a personal thing and I always say I can only press it when it feels right, and you’re such a remarkable young man.”

Ravi told The Sun the day after his audition: “I didn’t see Alesha pressing her golden buzzer because we were bowing!

“There was all this confetti, but it took all of our brains a long time to draw the connection to the buzzer.

“I’ve met famous people before, but in the moment it felt different to that — like they believed in what we were trying to do.

“If we won it would help us reach our fundraising goal, but also winning would just bring so much more awareness of brain tumours.”
