‘Get her gone!’ rage Emmerdale fans as they demand ‘dull’ newcomer is axed after hiding a mysterious secret

EMMERDALE viewers are all saying the same thing about the newcomer as they demand bosses to axe her.

The ITV soap has welcomed a new character, as Christine Tremarco joined the cast.

The actress has taken on the role of Rose, Dawn Taylor’s (played by Olivia Bromley’s) mum.

Rose arrived in the ITV soap in April, having abandoned Dawn when she was a child.

Dawn was raised by her father Will Taylor before being placed into foster care and had a troubled life until she found stability at Home Farm with Will, his wife Kim Tate and her husband Billy Fletcher.

Dawn initially wanted nothing to do with Rose, but following her baby son Evan’s diagnosis with Leukaemia, she asked her mother to stay in Emmerdale.

Rose has clashed with Kim on a number of occasions, and her behaviour has been suspicious at times.

It has been revealed that Rose has been planted in the village by Ruby Fox-Miligan, who’s working on a secret masterplan to destroy Kim Tate.

Rose is living at Home Farm and reporting back to Ruby as part of the ruthless scheme, although she already has doubts about betraying her daughter.

However, fans fume that the new character Rose is “dull” and are threatening to switch off their TV screens.

Taking to a fan forum, one wrote: “Same expression throughout, same dull as dishwater delivery.

“Get her gone ED. If she’s going to be appearing more, I’m going to be switching off.”

Another added: “She’s overtaken Ruby as my least favourite character. I’m giving Ruby a second chance after her scenes with Nicky in hospital. Rose can do one.”

A third penned: “Rose is another pointless character who’s been shoehorned into Home Farm.”

A fourth chimed in: “She’s pathetic! What’s the point of her? If she’s not going to be there for her own daughter who’s looking after her ill baby (which she isn’t) she can just do one.”
