CORONATION Street fans are convinced that the Weatherfield newcomer will become Sarah Barlow’s next love interest.
The new police officer Kit Green – played by Jacob Roberts – recently arrived onto the cobbles as Bernie Winter’s long lost son.
Kit has already been enthralled into the action as the detective is working with the policer to work out who killed the missing Lauren Bolton.
Monday night’s episode saw Sarah desperately try to help her daughter Bethany and get rid of her abuser Nathan Curtis for good.
Sarah made a bold move to try and get rid of him by framing him for Lauren’s murder.
Having confronted Nathan beside his van, Sarah decided to return with a plastic bag containing Lauren’s hair bobble, found in her things that she left at the Platts – but Kit caught her in the act.
She was forced to admit that she was planning to plant the hair bobble in Nathan’s van to prove he murdered Lauren.
Kit urged her to let the police do their job, before searching the van and finding some USB sticks.
After the dramatic scenes, residents and viewers learned that Nathan was arrested at the end of the episode. Is Bethany’s nightmare finally over?
Corrie viewers are all saying the same thing about Sarah and her potenital new love interest.
Taking to X – formally known as Twitter – one said: “How long till Sarah starts making her bedroom eyes at Bernie’s son.”
Another added: “I loved Adam/Sarah together but… I like Kit & Sarah together… #corrie.”
A third penned: “Sarah will end up bedding Kit… I can sense it #Corrie”

Sarah split from husband Adam Barlow last year after having an affair with bad boy Damon Hay.
Sarah and Damon decided to give things a go earlier this year but their romance came to a sudden end when he was arrested and imprisoned.
In recent weeks, Sarah has been spending time with her ex, Gary Windass, which has lead to trouble for him in his marriage to Maria Connor.
