Platinum-selling artist Mika and Maestro performer Lang Lang were on hand to judge the special talent competition.
The Piano follows different amateurs from all over the UK as they are invited to perform at the country’s busiest train station.
In each edition, one performer is selected to perform at a special concert which will take place in Manchester.
In Sunday’s edition of the hit show, neurodiverse student Michael appeared on the show.
He revealed that he suffers from mild autism and ADHD as he struggled to fit in with others.
His mother also explained how he was bullied by others due to the way he speaks.
When Michael performed in the station, he debuted an incredible operatic performance.
His mother was beaming with pride as Claudia, Mika and Lang Lang were all left in utter shock.
At the end of his musical rendition, Mika and Lang Lang couldn’t help but leave the table as they gave the young star their own applause by the window.
Viewers took to X – formerly known as Twitter– in their droves as they were left in tears by his performance and story.
One viewer gushed: “What an admirable young man Michael is, expressing himself so beautifully, made me in tears #thepiano.”
A second stated: “If I could get through an ep of The Piano without crying… Michael . Wow. #ThePiano.”
“Who needs to fit in, Michael, you do your wonderful, marvellous magic and be rare and special,” penned a third fan.
As a fourth wrote: “I’m not crying you are…. #ThePiano.”
This was as a fifth added: “#ThePiano I’m a 77 year old bloke and once again this programme has brought a tear to my eye. Michael. How special is he. And I know people who tell me it does nothing for them? I’d rather be me.”
And other viewers think he might just have what it takes to win the entire competition, or at the very least make it to the final.
Another viewer stated: “I think we might have just heard this year’s winner! #thepiano.”
And a second noted: “Michael was astounding. Like a countertenor singing while playing the piano. Finalist I think.”
In the end, he was unsurprisingly chosen as the standout performer of the episode to perform at the concert.
