VIEWERS have accused the BGT production crew of making it obvious that a singer was set to get a golden buzzer tonight.

Taryn Charles, 39, was trembling with fear before getting onto the stage and had to receive reassurance from Ant and Dec.

But viewers have complained there was a ‘clue’ she would be a judge favourite[/caption]

The vocalist works as a special needs educator, using the power of music to help rehabilitate children.

She looked visibly nervous about making an appearance on Britain’s Got Talent and even had tears in her eyes before she started singing.

When asked how skilled she was, the Surrey local replied that she was ‘alright’, prompting Simon Cowell to roll his eyes and dismiss her before she’d even opened her mouth.

However, the show’s judges were left stunned when she performed a soulful cover of (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin.

Members of the live audience were even moved to tears by Taryn’s singing, and gave her not one but two standing ovations after the last notes died away.

They shouted out from the stand, encouraging the BGT panel to press the golden buzzer.

After some deliberation Bruno Tonioli went ahead with it, sending Taryn through to the semi-finals.

But people watching the talent show at home claim it was obvious that she was going to be awarded a golden buzzer before her performance, ruining the suspense for them.

They pointed out that because she got so much screen time before performing it was clear Taryn was going to be a major player in the competition.

One person took to social media, fuming: “The nervous backstage shots to being good pipeline needs to be stopped immediately.”

Another hit out: “Well that was such a build up to a golden buzzer – obvious.”

A third agreed: “I knew she was gonna get the golden buzzer even before she spoke or said her name.”

A fourth added: “What a waste of a golden buzzer, she was good but there has been a lot better, think it might have been her back story that swung it!”
