But with these new contestants come new surprises, as a choir of Simon clones will storm the Britain’s Got Talent stage in this weekend’s audition episodes.

In the teaser clip uploaded to YouTube, a hopeful contestant grips the mic as he starts singing a rendition of  Tina Turner‘s Simply the Best while oddly dressed like Simon – even down to the hairdo.

While he serenades the judges with his unique vocals, Amanda Holden bursts into laughter as Simon looks on, frightened and shocked.

In the backstage hallway where Ant and Dec present the show and speak to the auditionees before they hit the stage, a group of Simon lookalikes push by them as they make their way onto the stage to join the man who is deep into his performance.

As they pour onto the stage in their masses, the embarrassed 64-year-old puts his hands to his head and gasps: “Oh my God”.

An audience member is heard saying: “They keep coming!” as the enormous group continue to pour onto the stage.

The other judges clearly find the bizarre audition highly amusing as Amanda can be heard cackling away.

As the choir continues rolling onto the stage to sing along to the hit song, Bruno Tonioli pretends to press Simons’s buzzer as the entertainment mogul sinks his face into his hand again.

Backstage, Ant cheekily swipes: “It’s like a nightmare I had once”, as the massive choir grows bigger and louder.

Tomorrow night’s episode, which airs at 7:30pm on ITV1, ITVX and STV, will reveal whether the Simon lookalike choir will make it past the first auditions or will be sent home.

In the video’s comments section, one show fan teased: “If David was still a judge. He’ll be fuming!”

“If this was in the days of “old school” Simon, he would’ve smashed his red buzzer almost instantly for this,” a second added.

Another chimed: “Love Simon, Ant and Dec.”

Everyone was left stunned by the Britain’s Got Talent audition[/caption]

A fourth viewer asked the question in everyone else’s mind, writing: “Ok but did they make it through the auditions.”

While someone else simply said: “Good God”, followed by three laughing emojis

Alesha Dixon is the fourth judge on this year’s BGT panel.

Following last weekend’s auditions, furious Britain’s Got Talent fans have lashed out at the programme amid a ‘bullying’ storm with the show’s latest Golden Buzzer act.

Some viewers of the ITV talent contest have been left unhappy with the show’s live audiences and have accused them of bullying the judges in a shock move.

Critics have lashed out at the crowds for bullying the panel into dishing out Golden Buzzer’s at the drop of a hat.

Their comments come after Simon opted to hand out the honour of sailing straight to the live finals week to Japanese street dance act CyberAgent Legit.

CyberAgent Legit were impressive with their moves and it was clear that their dancing skills won over the audience.

The judges seemed equally thrilled, but it was only when chants of “push the gold!” echoed out from the crowd that Simon appeared to lean in to hit his buzzer.

Elsewhere, fans have once again been accused of ‘fakery’ after they noticed the same thing happening with all the acts.

The audience at home spotted that the judges reacted to every single audition with the same expression – shock.

Britain’s Got Talent is back on ITV1, ITVX and STV on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5.
